About the project

Working closely with Sterling's editorial and production teams, we designed these pages to reflect the spirit of the time period and the music The Band created. The roots of their sound is in the swamps and roadhouses of a post-depression USA, but they became huge during the turbulent, hazy 60's and 70's. Colors and pages emphasize this blend of the psychedelic and the real.
